Chillicothe Police responded to 180 calls for service over the weekend, some of the calls include:
Saturday:
12:25am, Domestic disturbance reported at Springhill Street and Miller Ave…..A man was taken into custody for assault.
3:58 pm, Officers were dispatched to the corner of Bryan Street and Washington Street for a two-vehicle non-injury accident. Officers cited the westbound driver for failing to stop at stop sign and for no insurance.
Sunday:
12:42 AM, Officers responded to the area of East Street and E Bridge for a report of approximately 10 juveniles fighting. The juveniles had already left before officers arrived. Officers located two juveniles in a car who said there was no physical fight, they were escorted home and returned to their parents.
10:49 AM, Officers responded to a report of theft in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Suspects had allegedly stolen over $1000 in merchandise and two had avoided the police. A 3rd member of their group who was located and arrested. The person had also been identified as the suspect in another theft at the same business earlier in the month. Formal charges are being sought for theft and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device.
