Dewey School Building SOLD
The sale of the Dewey Elementary School was presented to the Chillicothe R-II School Board in their closed executive session. The board approved the sale of Dewey to Scott and Joy Anderson for the purchase price of $149,000. The closing for the sale is expected at the end of January.

Jail Booking On Warrant
A Chillicothe man was arrested by Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies Wednesday on a Bond Revocation warrant. Twenty-five-year-old Jordan Daniel Wells is held at the Caldwell County Detention Center. He was originally charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance in October. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.
