Stormwater Project Nears Completion

Economic Development Studies Requested
Chillicothe’s Economic Developer, Terry Rumery, has received requests for studies for the community. City Administrator Roze Frampton says these would include a Labor Study, Housing Study, and Retail Study. Rumery talked about the studies. Completed by agencies they’ve used in the past. The cost is $36,000 for all three studies.
Man Charged After Disturbance Call
An early morning call for a domestic disturbance resulted in Chillicothe Police arresting two. Officers received the call at about 12:48 am in the 500 block of Waples. CES Shelter Ribbon Cutting
A new shelter at the Chillicothe Elementary School playground will be dedicated Monday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ceremony will be held at 6:30 pm at the playground and will include the Chillicothe Rotary in recognition of making the shelter possible.
Council Permits One Time Camping For Airport Event
A one-time approval of camping at the Chillicothe Airport was given by Chillicothe City Council. The approval is for members of the EAA Chapter 944 to camp overnight, this Friday, for the set-up of the Fly-in on Saturday. Councilwoman Stacey Soper talked about some of the restrictions. Re-Appointment To Parks And Recreation Board
A re-appointment to the Chillicothe Parks and Recreation Advisory Board was approved by the Chillicothe City Council. Mayor Theresa Kelly made the recommendation to reappoint Scott Ellis to the board. Ellis has served one 4 year term and he was appointed to his second term on that board. The recommendation was approved unanimously.
