Before approving the 2019/20 budget for the City of Chillicothe, the city council approved $568,000 of increases in various portions of the 2018/19 budget. City Auditor Teresa Kelly explained the increase in Capital expenditures of $460,000.
There was also a $20,000 increase in the TIF Fund payment. Kelly says that is good news as the TIF revenues were higher than budgeted and that money all goes out to pay the TIF.
