The Chillicothe City Council accepted the election results for the April 2nd election as part on Mondays Council Session.
The results include:
Teresa Kelly as Mayor
Denny Albertson as 1st Ward Councilman
And Michael Smith as 3rd Ward Councilman.
In addition, write-in votes were reported for the office of City Attorney and City Treasurer, the two offices that have no duties. Top on the write-ins are:
For City Attorney, Adam Warren had the most votes, 6.
For City Treasurer, Kyle Marcolla had the most votes, with 3.
A swearing-in ceremony for Chillicothe elected officials will be Wednesday at Noon at City Hall. There will be a brief meeting prior to the ceremony, which will include special recognition of Chuck Haney, Tom Douglas, and Paul Howard.
There will also be recognition of outgoing Mayor Reed Dupy.
A reception will follow the ceremony.
