Eighty-six-thousand-dollars in new scholarships were presented this year as part of the Chillicothe High School Senior Awards Ceremony Friday afternoon. The list of new scholarships this year includes:
The GDL (Groovy Dan Leatherman) Scholarship from Patti Leatherman and Family, with $1,000 awarded.
The Warren G Culling Scholarship with $9,000 awarded.
The Michael Fair Instrumental Music Scholarship, with $1,000 awarded.
The Nolan Chapman Jr & Margaret P Chapman Memorial Scholarship with $15,000 awarded.
The Sue Ann Opler Foundation Scholarship with $40,000 awarded locally.
And the Jolene Haas Anderson Scholarship with $20,000 awarded
