Flood levels continue to drop at Sumner and Brunswick.
The Grand River at Sumner still has more than a foot to drop before the river is below flood stage. At 11:00 this morning, the River level was 27.72 feet. Flood stage is 26 feet. Flooding will continue until this evening.
At Brunswick, flooding is now expected to continue well into next week. Friday at 11:00 am, the river was at 29.3 feet. Flood stage is 19 feet. The National Weather Service says the river is expected to reach 23 feet by next Wednesday and that is still four feet above flood stage.
