A routine call to Chillicothe Police turned into a foot chase and apprehension of an out-of-town criminal.
Officers were recently dispatched to a report of an unidentified male walking out of a residents garage on Samuel Street. He was later located behind a business on Hickory street.
Officers stated the male initially provided false information on his identity to the officers.
Police discovered him to be in possession of a controlled substance. After being handcuffed, he broke free from police and began running. He was caught after a short foot chase and later identified as Shaun Sese, considered armed and dangerous with outstanding warrants from Jackson County for Burglary and probation violation.
He was taken to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.
