July Fourth is a week away, and that means celebrations that includes fireworks.
Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples reminds citizens they must wait until Monday before shooting off fireworks.
Maple also says there are rules regarding the type of fireworks allowed by city ordinance.
Maple says there are always calls to the police department regarding firework violations during this time of year.
