Plans are being finalized for this year’s Sliced Bread Days, a three day event in Chillicothe July 5th through the 7th.
Amy Supple, the director of “Visit Chillicothe”, is excited for the three day festival.
The carnival begins Friday the 5th at Simpson Park, plus open Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Saturday morning is a 5K run, a French Toast breakfast and music in the morning at Silver Moon Plaza.
A parade will be in downtown Chillicothe plus events at the Livingston County Library and Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery.
The new Sliced Bread Center at 1st and Elm will be open and a bread baking contest will be at the museum.
The celebration concludes Sunday afternoon with entertainment by Rhonda Vincent at the Performing Arts Center at 3:00pm.
