Chillicothe’s Animal Control Officer is urging citizens to make sure their pet’s vaccinations are up to date.
Leslie Patek with the Animal Shelter has heard reports of dogs with out vaccinations, putting pets at risk of deadly disease.
Says reminds pet owners there is an ordinance requiring having pets vaccinated.
She says if you see warning signs in your pet, take them immediately to a veterinarian’s office for treatment and vaccination.
