Chillicothe’s newest Superintendent of Schools begins his job today. Former Trenton School Superintendent Dan Wiebers takes over the Superintendent’s job at the Chillicothe R-II school district today.
Outgoing Superintendent Dr. Roger Barnes says he was proud to serve the School District for the past seven years.
He says his proudest accomplishment is the building of the new Elementary School.
Barnes says one of the things he will miss, is the people and students of the district.
Barnes begins his new position with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Jefferson City today. He says his family will continue to maintain a home in Chillicothe.
