Two separate drug investigations from February have been wrapped up by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Steve Cox says both cases were concluded with reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab identified the evidence as Methamphetamine. Reports on both cases are being submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney for consideration.
In other Department activities, 19 year old Ethan A Ross of Lees Summit was arrested for alleged Parental Kidnapping. The arrest stems from a Sheriff’s Department investigation that began June 11th. Ross has been formerly charged with alleged Resisting Arrest and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
A Deputy located a fugitive in Chillicothe and arrested 43 year old Barry Preston Cooper of Polo on a Parole Violation Warrant. He was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail and will be returned to the Department of Corrections at first opportunity.
