The recent sentencing of Shawn Yuille to 35 years in prison for his role in the automobile accident that killed Danette Rardon in 2017 is bring a growing problem to the forefront.
The accident was caused when Yuille passed out while driving after engaging in the newest drug of choice, Huffing.
Chillicothe Police Chief Jon Maples says “Huffing” started a few years ago but its popularity is growing.
Maples says one of the reasons for its growth, is the ready availability of ingredients which anyone can purchase legally.
Maples says the effects can be deadly.
Police investigated an accident Tuesday morning at Business 36 and Mitchell Avenue. The female subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated and stated she had been huffing airduster and passed out at the wheel.
