It’s no surprise that a majority of calls to the Chillicothe Police Department were about fireworks on July 4th.
Some of the calls included fireworks at Danner Park after 11:00p, complaints at Polk and Cherry, fireworks near vehicles on Borden Street.
There was a report of large fireworks remnants in a street at Jackson and Woodrow, firework complains in the 400 block of Grandview, 500 block of Vine.
Firework calls after allowable hours were also in the 1900 block of Clay.
In other Chillicothe Police calls, officers responded to an accident at Jackson and Locust streets. Officers found the driver to have drug paraphernalia in his possession and was arrested for Possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and no seat belt.
