It’s good news for travelers around Utica. The Missouri Department of Transportation says Route C at the Shoal Creek Bridge just south of Utica is now open.
The bridge was closed in early April after a regularly scheduled inspection revealed critical deterioration of the structure, forcing it to close.
Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation worked to complete necessary repairs and were able to re-open the bridge Monday Morning.
Due to modifications, traffic has been reduced to one late over the bridge but weight restrictions were not altered.
