The US Small Business Administration has low-interest loans available for individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations, who suffered losses due to the storms and flooding from March 11th to April 16th. Javier Caltenco with the SBA says there is assistance available for those in need.
Caltenco says Economic Injury loans help businesses.
He says in that type of situation, the loan could be used to cover expenses that include rent or loan payments, salaries for employees and other business-related expenses.
