A Weatherby woman had moderate injuries after hitting a trailer of a truck on Highway 13 in Caldwell County. Thirty-year-old Johnnie Stephen was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment following the accident Saturday about 3:00 pm. The report states that after hitting the trailer, the Stephen vehicle went off the road, overturned, hit a barbed wire fence and she was ejected from her car. The other driver was not injured.
Two Trenton Teens were injured in separate accidents.
Saturday at about 7:11 pm in Grundy County, 17-year-old Tierney Doolittle of Trenton had minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at NW Crane Lane and NW 22nd Ave. According to the report, the truck driven by 18-year-old Johnathan Huber Bethards of Trenton lost control, ran off the road and the truck overturned. Doolittle was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident. She was treated at Wright Memorial Hospital.
Nineteen-year-old Nathaniel Z Carter of Trenton had moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident, Sunday at about 10:45 am. The accident happened on NW 3rd Street when he ran off the road while eastbound. He struck the ditch and a tree. He was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a safety belt. Carter was also arrested for alleged minor visibly intoxicated.
