The Chillicothe High school band began their practice Monday, and Director Sarah Cavanah says the band is down five from last year. Cavanah says they are practicing all week, either in the PAC Parking lot or in the band room.
The show this year is a cartoon theme. The band will perform Meet the Flinstones, The Pink Panther, and The Simpsons.
Their first performances will be at the August 1st freshman orientation, faculty and staff first-day in service kick off on August 12th, and Meet the Hornets Monday evening, August 19th. They will perform in several parade competitions throughout the fall season as well as every home varsity football games.
