The Chillicothe Police Department had 89 calls for service Monday.
10:02 am, Officer spoke by phone with someone that had questions about a previously reported theft from the estate of a relative who died.
11:12 am, Officers took a complaint from a property owner of items left in front of the building’s doorway. Items were to be removed and the situation resolved.
11:44 am, Officers took a report of a vehicle had tried several times to run them off the road. Description of the vehicle was provided to Officers. Officers have not located a vehicle matching description at this time.
12:41 pm, Officer assisted another agency on an investigation in the 400 block of St. Louis Street.
4:31 pm, Officer spoke on the phone with someone who was receiving threats over the phone. Determined to be coming from County jurisdiction and subject advised to contact Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.
4:36 pm, Officers responded a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street reference theft of an item. It was returned and there was no report.
6:19 pm, Officer continued investigation case into suspected child abuse which was alleged to have occurred in Chillicothe. That investigation is still ongoing.
7:41 pm, Officers are investigating possible vandalism at the old Jerry Litton Stadium. Suspects have been named and the investigation continues.
11:04 pm, Officers took a report of what appeared to be someone threatened and forced into a vehicle before leaving their home. The officers investigated and talked to the person who was said to be forced into the vehicle. They were told it was just an argument and they were not in fear for their safety.
