A car/deer accident Tuesday evening left the driver with minor injuries. State Troopers report 55-year-old Michell S Mayer of Chillicothe was injured in the accident at about 5:15 pm in Sullivan County. According to the report, Mayer was eastbound on Highway 6 near Humphreys when the accident occurred. The report indicates he drove himself to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.
