A flood warning is issued for the Grand River at Chillicothe, Sumner and Brunswick. The National Weather Service says the Grand River is expected to rise today due to the rain here and to out north.
In Chillicothe, the river is expected to just reach flood stage of 24 feet this evening, before falling again.
At Sumner, the river will reach flood stage of 26 feet this morning, with a crest of 30 feet Saturday morning and the flooding continuing until midday Sunday.
At Brunswick, the river is expected to rise above flood stage of 19 feet late tonight, cresting at 21.7 feet. The river is expected to fall back below flood stage on Monday evening.
