Some of the calls answered over the weekend by the Chillicothe Police Department:
Officers were dispatched with the Fire Department to a report of a natural gas leak at the 1700 block of Fairchild. Fire department personnel turned the gas off at the meter and the Gas Company was contacted.
A two vehicle non-injury accident on a private parking lot in the 400 block of Park Lane. A vehicle was backing from a parking stall and struck a parked vehicle, causing minor damage.
Officers responded to a one vehicle non-injury accident in the 1300 block of Washington. A vehicle driven by an Iowa resident was south on Washington Street when it left the roadway and hit a utility pole. There was extensive damage to the vehicle but only minor damage to the utility pole.
Officers took a report of two missing runaway juveniles. They were located a short distance south of Chillicothe on Highway 65 by a Livingston County Deputy. The juveniles were transported to the Police Department and the Juvenile Officer was contacted, who requested the youth be released to their parents.
Officers arrested a Carrollton woman in the 100 block of Graves for shoplifting. She was processed and released
Officers investigated a vehicle vs deer collision on Highway 65 just north of 190. Officers reported minor damage to the vehicle. The deer carcass was removed from the roadway.
