A Jamesport man was injured in an accident on July Avenue, east of Jamesport Wednesday afternoon. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 61-year-old Jack Prescott of Jamesport was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center following the accident at about 1:35 pm. According to the report, Prescott was westbound and ran into a Semi driven by 34-year-old John Lefler of Trenton. Both drivers were wearing safety belts. Lefler was not injured.
