The annual Kiwanis Kids Day Parade is next Saturday, September 21st. The parade will line up on Webster Street starting at 9:00 am. Kiwanis member Kent Peterson says children up to 15 years old can participate in four categories.
Prizes will be awarded in each of the categories.
Line-up and sign-in begins at 9:00 am on the north side of the courthouse. The parade will start at 10:00 am on Webster, travel south on Washington Street to Clay, east to Locust and back to Webster. Every Child will receive a cash prize. Children can come in costume, but bikes and motorized vehicles are not allowed.
The children will be escorted on the parade route by the Chillicothe Police Department Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and Chillicothe Fire Department.
