Three were injured over the weekend in two accidents in the local counties.
A four-vehicle accident in Daviess County left one driver with minor injuries. The accident happened on Missouri Highway 6 near Jamesport at about 5:10 pm Saturday. According to the report, 31-year-old Lacey Petron of Trenton was westbound and 32-year-old Joshua Hoffman of Easton was eastbound when Hoffman attempted to make a left turn onto Route NN and was struck on the passenger side by the Petron vehicle. Petron had minor injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment. Two other vehicles were damaged in the accident but no other injuries were reported.
At about 6:00 pm Saturday, a two-vehicle accident in Grundy County left both drivers with moderate injuries. According to the report, 19-year-old Hunter Krawitz of Spickard was southbound on Third Street in Spickard, when he failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck on the passenger side by a car driven by 22-year-old Austin Whitney of Trenton. Both drivers were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
