The Chillicothe Girls Softball team fell at home to Savannah 4 to 1. Chillicothe struggled connecting the bat with the ball, chalking up 18 strike outs at the plate.
The Lady Hornets had singles by Sophia Luetticke, Jordan Hibner and Brooke Horton.
Mollie Ellis was the starting pitcher for Chillicothe with Halle Rucker in relief. The two gave up four runs, all earned, off seven hits with five strike outs.
The Junior Varsity game ended in a five to five tie. Chillicothe had a double and single from Kinlei Boley, two singles from Kaylee Munson and Lainie Epperson.
Kaitlynn Fleener and Abby Jones pitched, combining for six strike outs.
