Improvements to Litton Road will begin next spring. The nearly $300,000 project was awarded to Metro Asphalt. Metro had the low bid of $296,131 for the project that includes milling of the current pavement layer, a paving fabric to help the project last longer and a new one and a half-inch layer of pavement.
Funding for the project will come from the City of Chillicothe, Livingston County, and City Administrator Darin Chappell says there is funding from a Federal Aid Program managed by the State.
Chappell says they expect the project to begin in early March.
