The Chillicothe Police Department handled 143 calls Monday and 103 calls Tuesday.
Some of the calls for Monday include:
3:48 am, Officers responded to an unknown 911 call in the 400 block of Williams Street. The officers determined a domestic assault incident had occurred and arrested a 22-year-old woman for alleged domestic assault.
6:20 am, Officers responded to the 20 block of Webster Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. The pickup was taken sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning. The investigation continues.
11:30 am, Officer received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 2500 block of Broken Arrow Road and subsequent fraudulent use of a credit card. Investigation continues.
2:17 pm, Officers took a walk-in report from a resident of the 1100 block of Fairway Dr. in reference to a threat over the phone. The investigation is on-going.
5:12 pm, Officers responded to a report of violation of an Ex-Parte Order in the 200 block of Second Street. The suspect was gone and a report was sent to the Prosecutor for consideration of charges.
Items from Tuesday’s report include:
4:59 am, Officers received a report of possible child abuse in the 500 block of St. Louis. They arrested a 26 year old male parent.
12:20 pm, Officers saw a stolen pick-up with two people in the truck. They attempted to stop the truck that fled south on US 65. Near Roach Lake the vehicle turned and slowed, One person left the vehicle and was taken into custody while the truck went back towards Chillicothe and ended up crashing in a grassy area at the junction of Business 36 and Hwy. 65. The driver was arrested at that location. They both face numerous charges including resisting arrest and tampering with a motor vehicle/theft.
7:09 pm, Report of disturbance in the 300 block of Cherry Street. It was a disagreement between family members. one person had a warrant from Higginsville and was taken into custody.
