A presentation of the Lower Grand River watershed draft plan will include the US Corp of Engineers, Missouri Department of Natural Resources and Missouri Department of Conservation. The draft plan will be presented in three public meetings this week. They are:
- Tuesday at the Gen. John J. Pershing Boyhood Home State Historic Site in Laclede
- Wednesday at the Keytesville Community Center
- Thursday at the Milan Community Center.
Meetings will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and will be come-and-go meetings, with a presentation at both 5:15 and 6:15.
Tom Rielly, Water Quality Coordinator for the DNR says the study began in 2016.
Rielly says they encourage the public to attend the meetings.
There will be opportunities for public comment. The draft plan is also available on-line.
