The Chillicothe Police Department report for Monday includes a couple of arrests and several theft investigations.
12:26 am, A 20-year-old man turned himself in on a warrant for alleged exceeding the posted speed limit. He was processed, posted the $200 cash-only bond and was released.
1:30 am, Officers began an investigation of a stolen vehicle located in the 300 block of Elm Street. The suspect had multiple felony warrants and was to be armed and dangerous. The person attempted to flee on foot from Officers and Deputies but was captured and the stolen vehicle was recovered. They were also in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia along with resisting arrest. They were taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
6:42 am, Officer received a report of theft in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. A suspect has been identified.
7:26 am, Report of theft from an automobile in the 400 block of Samuel Street.
10:56 am, Report that traffic signal at Park Lane and Washington not cycling correctly. There is no problem.
11:02 am, Reported theft from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.
11:36 am, Reported theft from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.
12:07 pm, Reported theft from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Vine Street.
12:54 pm, Reported theft from a vehicle in the 400 block of Calhoun Street.
2:29 pm, Report of someone near Washington Street and Simpson Park that was contemplating self-harm. They were taken to Hedrick Medical Center for medical assistance.
4:01 pm, Reported domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Clay Street.
4:06 pm, Reported theft from a motel room in the 300 block of W. Business 36 Hwy.
9:58 pm, Information on reported theft from a vehicle was received at the PD.
