The Missouri Highway Patrol reports two accidents Monday and three arrests.
Monday at about 9:10 am in Caldwell County, an accident left both drivers with minor injuries. The accident happened on Missouri 116 in Polo, when 18-year-old Jessica Pendleton of Cameron was westbound and ran into the back of a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Dustin Cole of Polo. Cole was stopped to make a turn into a parking lot. Both drivers refused treatment at the scene. Cole was arrested by Troopers on an Atchison County warrant for alleged failure to register a vehicle, no insurance and speeding. He was held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.
At 7:10 pm in Linn County, a single-vehicle accident left the driver with minor injuries. Troopers report 64-year-old Robert Englehard of Marceline was westbound on a motorcycle, struck a deer and his bike overturned. He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Troopers reported two other arrests Monday.
At 2:00 pm, in Sullivan County, Troopers arrested 35-year-old Ricky Pauley of Milan on two Sullivan County warrants for alleged violation of a protection order. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
At 5:45 pm, 22-year-old Brandon Kleihour of Hamilton was arrested in Daviess County for alleged possession of a controlled substance – Meth, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and no seatbelt. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
