The Chillicothe Police Department had 130 calls for service Tuesday. Some of those calls included:
1:49 am, Officer assisted a motorist in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.
7:40 am, Officers responded to an accident in the 1200 block Washington St. They determined a vehicle failed to yield to another vehicle while exiting a parking lot. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. No-one was injured.
8:17 am, Officers performed a special assignment traffic control request for C&P Railroad.
9:54 am, Officers took a report of a firearm stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Graves Street.
11:02 am, Officers recovered an abandoned bicycle in the 600 block of Highland Ave. The owner can identify and claim the bike.
11:05 am, a report was received of identity theft for someone living in the 900 block of Sunnyview. A Monetary loan was applied for and taken out in the victim’s name.
12:25 pm, someone came to the police department to report a theft. The report was taken and the investigation continues.
5:19 pm, Officers investigated a report of kids throwing items and hitting a vehicle driving in the 700 block of Elm Street. Officers spoke with kids and parents. no report.
5:48 pm, Report of someone threatening kids on a playground at Dewey School. Officer unable to locate a suspect. The person was later identified and officers spoke with a guardian.
