6 Hornets score TDS on Sr Night Win

Six different Hornet Football players found the end zone in a 42-7 Chillicothe home win over St Joseph Benton.
Unofficially, Chillicothe had 384 yards rushing and 53 yards passing in the game, while the Hornets Defense held Benton to 31 yards rushing and 92 yards passing.
Chillicothe scored on their opening drive on a 5 yard Isaih Kille run and later in the first quarter on a 7 play, 97 yard drive capped by a Jaden Winder run.
In the second quarter, Winder connected with Conner Sewell on a 26 yard pass play touchdown.
Kam Ward finished a 66 yard drive with a 12 yard run for a 28-0 halftime lead.
In the third quarter, Dawson Wheeler ran it in from five yards away.
Benton’s only score came in the fourth quarter in a 45 yard fumble return for touchdown.
Chillicothe finished the scoring on a 7 play, 79 yard drive that ended on an Allen Eakins 1 yard run.
Chillicothe stands at 7-2 and will host a first round district play off game next Friday.
While Chillicothe finished with the most District points, they will be forced to swap district standing places with Savannah, since the Savages beat Chillicothe in the regular season.
Friday Chillicothe will open district play at home against Kansas City Southeast.
