Chillicothe Police Report For Friday – Sunday

The Chillicothe Police Department handles 242 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday,

At about 11:53 am, Officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress in the 1000 block of Olive St.  Officers found a woman, who was a former tenant, entered the home unlawfully.  Officers also found a 34-year-old man who gave Officers false identification information.  They were able to determine his true identity and he was arrested on a warrant for a parole violation and additional charges are pending.  He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

At about 1:14 pm, Officers were dispatched to phone harassment in the 1300 block of N. Washington St.  Officers were able to contact the suspect and they were advised to stop.

At about 4:04 pm, Officers took a report of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St.  A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

At about 4:19 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of a dog attacking another dog on Jennifer Ln.  The investigation is on-going.

At about 10:24 pm, Officers were dispatched to shoplifting in the 1000 block of Graves St.  They arrested an 18-year-old man.

Saturday

At about 12:22 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of stealing in the 1100 block of Arcadia Rd.  The investigation is on-going.

At about 10:01 am, Officers were dispatched to an animal complaint in the 100 block of E. Second St.  The owner was issued a citation for dog running-at-large.

At about 10:08 pm, Officers were dispatched to a possible impaired driver coming into Chillicothe from the South.  Officers located the vehicle parked at a local business.

Sunday

At about 12:09 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of a stolen animal in the 300 block of Cherry St.  Officers were able to locate the animal and it was returned to the owner.

At about 12:42 am, Officers were dispatched to a disagreement between a father and juvenile teenage son in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.

At about 12:58 am, Officers were dispatched to possible gunshots in the 1200 block of Sunset Ave.  Officers were unable to locate any violations.

At about 10:15 am, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious item in the 1300 block of Cooper St.  Officers seized the item and the investigation is on-going.

At about 12:13 pm, Officers were dispatched to stealing in the 600 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.  Suspects have been identified and charges are pending.

At about 3:23 pm, Officers were dispatched to stealing in the 1400 block of Clay St.  The investigation is on-going.

At about 5:39 pm, Officers were dispatched to loud music in the 400 block of Walnut St.  Officers made contact and the individuals were testing a vehicle stereo they recently installed.
