A Milan man had serious in a single-vehicle accident Saturday night in Sullivan County. State Troopers report 63-year-old Thomas Miller was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital and later to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. The accident happened about 7:30 pm on River Road, east of Milan when Miller was westbound and ran off the road and his SUV overturned, coming to rest in a creek.
Troopers also arrested Miller for alleged DWI, Driving while suspended and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in the accident. He was released for treatment.
