The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Volleyball team was honored at their annual banquet. The biggest announcement came at the end of the banquet when Coach Karen Jackson announced her retirement after 15 years of coaching Volleyball at Chillicothe. Her record at CHS is 164-206-18, and finished district runner up twice.
During the banquet, Jackson announced Maya Snyder and Makayla Vance both earned All District honors, and were both honorable mention All Midland Empire Conference.
In player awards: Most Blocks went to Essie Hicks with 11, Service Percentage went to Clara Leamer at 98.2%, Most Digs to Makayla Vance with 117 Most Assists to Haylee Coplen with 123 and most kills to Maya Snyder with 54.
Jackson says her all underclassman team improved through out the season
Lady Hornets Volleyball went 9-14-1 this season and had no Seniors on the team.
