The firearms Deer Season runs through next Tuesday and it already looks like the harvest numbers will be better than last year. The 2018 season, November firearm portion saw 200,738 deer taken and an additional 13,645 for the early youth season.
So far this year, the deer harvest totals are at 200,644. In the local counties that total is 11,452.
