It was a rare night for the Chillicothe Junior Varsity girls basketball team Tuesday night. The Chillicothe JV team shut out Penney High of Hamilton Junior Varsity 42-0. Chillicothe capitalized on numerous stolen passes and turnovers to build a 12-0 lead after the first quarter.
Chillicothe used the big lead in the second half to work on a variety of plays and situations in a real game, including plays to the low post, and outside shooting.
Kaylee Munson had 10 points, Cali Burhardt with 9, Sophia Luetticke
with 8, Bre Pithan with 7, Quincey Jessen with 4 and Izzie Montgomery and Ellie Barnett each with 2.
