A Braymer teen was injured in a three-vehicle accident Tuesday evening near Lathrop. Eighteen-year-old Hannah Bills of Braymer was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment of minor injuries in the accident on Interstate 35. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, at about 6:10 pm Bills was on the interstate and was struck by another vehicle, driven by 56-year-old Gary Kirkland of Kansas City. That caused Bills’ vehicle to slide into the path of a third vehicle driven by 64-year-old Gregg Eckert of Cameron. Eckert and Kirkland were not injured in the accident. All three drivers were wearing safety belts.
