The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports a Meth Bust that resulted from a traffic stop. On November 19th, a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle at about 3:55 pm for alleged improper license and the driver was known to allegedly have a revoked license. The person failed to yield to the emergency light for more than a mile and finally stopped in the 200 block of Second Street in Chillicothe.
As a result of the stop and the investigation, the deputy arrested 43-year-old Barry Cooper of Chillicothe for alleged delivery of a controlled substance – Meth and driving while revoked. Cooper was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
At the time of the arrest, Cooper was on parole for a 2018 conviction for delivery of a controlled substance.
