Chillicothe Junior Varsity girls basketball team beat Mid-Buchanan at home 60-21.
For Chillicothe: Cali Burkhardt had 13 points, Bre Pithan (PIT-han) had 12, Quincey Jessen and Sophia Luetticke both had 10, Kirsten Dunn with 6, Kaylee Munson, Izze Montgomery, Hope Helton and Kaylynn Cranmer each had two points and Aliyah Briner had a free throw.
The Junior Varsity boys won 41-39 in overtime. Scoring for Chillicothe was Wyatt Brandsgaard with 20, Damarcus Kelow with 8, Quentin Cranmer with 5, Cameron Fleener with 4, Dalton Ripley and Seth Hanson with 2.
Brandsgaard had the basket in overtime that won the game for the Hornets JV team.
