The Chillicothe Lady Hornets built an early lead and went on to beat Trenton 58-29 in Trenton.
Trenton won the tip and scored the first basketball. Chillicothe responded with a 10-0 run and led by double figures for the final three quarters.
Chillicothe Coach Darren Smith said this was a good team win for the Lady Hornets, highlighted by some good defense
Chillicothe was led by Lucy Reeter with 16 points. Jordan Hibner with 15, Essie Hicks with 9, Haley Kidd with 6, Brooke Horton with 4, Jessica Reeter and Ellie Barnett each with 3, Hunter Keithley with 2 and playing time for Ella Leamer, Selby Miller, Clara Leamer, Josie Reeter and Montana Plattner.
Trenton was led by Maci Moore with 13 points.
