Preliminary work on the construction of a new Chillicothe R-II District office continues. Superintendent Dan Wiebers told the board where they are in the progress with the RFQ’s or requests for qualifications.
He says because they will not move back into the old district office, it is no longer needed.
Wiebers reminds the public the new District Office building will be built with the insurance money, not funds from the district budget.
