A Native Warm Season Grass management workshop will be held in Chillicothe on January 22nd. The University of Missouri Extension service is providing the program at the Mildren Litton Community Center at the Litton Ag Center. The four-hour program will start at 10:30 am and will focus on ways to enhance or improve the forage base of North Missouri grass farms. The primary focus will be on the establishment and management of native warm-season grasses. Valarie Tate from the Linn County MU Extension Office says they will have several experts on hand for the program.
