A new Conservation Agent has been assigned to serve Linn County. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announced Griffin Surtin has taken on those responsibilities. Surtin grew up in O’Fallon and graduated with a degree in criminal justice from Lindenwood University.
Surtin says “I am looking forward to creating positive relationships throughout the community,” He added that he enjoys exploring the county and that Linn County has a good mix of paved roads, gravel roads, and dirt roads. I can always find something to do. It has been a change in pace since I moved here.
Surtin lives in Marceline and when needed can be reached by calling 660-654-0550.
