An accident in Daviess County Thursday morning left two teens with injuries. State Troopers report the accident happened about 5:15 am, when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old girl was southbound on US 69 and went through a T intersection at Highway 6 and hit a guard rail. The vehicle continued off the road and struck a road sign and some trees. Troopers report the 16-year-old driver was not injured, but her passengers were injured. A 13-year-old girl from Cameron had moderate injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital for treatment. 18-year-old Ashton Arndt of Gallatin had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. Neither the driver nor the passengers were wearing safety belts. The car was a total loss.
