COBRA Plan Approved By City Council

With the city of Chillicothe switching to a self-insured health insurance plan, they had to provide a comparable COBRA plan for employees that leave city employment.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says this is something they had to offer.

Chappell says the Self Insured plan would not work.

That rate, including a 2% administrative fee, is:

Employee only – $719.16

Employee & Spouse – $1365.05

Employee and Children – $1215.97

And for the family – $2016.15
