The middle third of the High School basketball season is underway, and that means a lot of high school tournaments in January.
Tournaments that include teams in the KCHI listening area are:
Week of January 6th
Salisbury Tournament will include Norborne, Meadville and Carrollton among the eight teams.
Week of January 13th
Benton Cardinal Classic which includes MEC teams Benton, St Pius and Savannah among the eight teams.
Lawson Invitational which includes Carrollton, Gallatin, Penney of Hamilton and Trenton from the KCHI area among the eight teams.
Kearney Classic which includes Chillicothe in the girls tournament, plus Lafayette from the MEC in the boys and girls tournaments.
Milan Tournament which includes Milan, Bucklin/Macon County, Marceline and Linn County among the eight teams.
Bill Burns Tournament at Lathrop includes Cameron and Savannah girls.
Later in the month tournaments will be held at Macon, North Kansas City, Cameron, Basehor Kansas, Hamilton, Keytesville, Meadville, North Platte, Richmond, Gilman City and Slater tournaments that will include area teams.
