A 17-year-old Norborne Man had serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident early this morning. Seventeen-year-old Lane T Hawkins of Norborne was flown to Liberty Hospital following the accident on Carroll County Highway E at County Road 191. According to the Highway Patrol, at about 1:35 am, Hawkins was westbound when he ran off the road, struck a bridge and went down an embankment. Hawkins was not wearing a safety belt.
